Farming for you...
and for the earth
Elizabeth Telling Farm has operated in Belmont County, Ohio, since 1989, growing diverse, high quality food for Ohioans through a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and direct farmers' market sales. We farm based on three principles:
• we use no herbicides or pesticides and only organic seeds and fertilizers,
• we make sure that each crop or animal supports another part of the farm, and
• we continually look for new ways to soften our impact on the environment.
"I wanted to name the farm in honor of two of the most important influences in my life," says farmer Sandy Sterrett. "Elizabeth (Libby) Gregory was my best friend and mentor, and my great-grandfather Telling set an example for me with the innovative dairy farm that he and his four brothers ran in the first part of the 20th century."

Market Crates now available!
Hand crafted by Andy on the Elizabeth Telling farm, these special order market crates are based on the original design created for Sandy by her father. More than just handsome, these sturdy crates make the trek from farm to market at least once a week and have been doing so for the better part of 10 years. Please stop by one of the Elizabeth Telling Farm CSA pick up locations to see the crates in action or to fill out a pre-order form.
